Data Deletion

How to disconnect Meta and request deletion of information held by Digital Marketing Manager.

Disconnect Facebook or Instagram

  1. Sign in to Digital Marketing Manager and open the applicable member.
  2. Open Digital presence.
  3. Under Facebook or Instagram, choose Disconnect from this member.
  4. To revoke the account-level authorization in Digital Marketing Manager, open Accounts > Manage providers and choose Revoke for Facebook & Instagram. The platform asks Meta to remove the user's granted permissions and clears its locally stored authorization credentials even if Meta does not confirm that request.
  5. For an additional provider-side control, remove Digital Marketing Dashboard from Facebook Business Integrations.

Disconnecting a member profile removes its member association and monitoring snapshots, but does not revoke the account-level Meta authorization or remove previously recorded audit history. After profile assignment or reauthorization with existing assignments, the stored authorization contains only assigned Facebook Pages, assigned Instagram professional accounts, and linked Page credentials needed for those Instagram accounts; unassigned discovered Page metadata and access credentials are removed. Revoking the connection clears the locally stored authorization credentials. Previously recorded audit history and other account data remain subject to the verified account-deletion process below.

Request deletion from Digital Marketing Manager

  1. Ask an account administrator to open the platform's Data Governance page.
  2. Create and download an account export if one is required for your records.
  3. Submit an account-deletion request and complete administrator verification.
  4. The account enters a protected quarantine period. Toledo Web Designs reviews and completes eligible deletion requests because automated destructive purging is currently disabled.

For help or to request deletion when you cannot sign in, use the Toledo Web Designs contact form (opens in a new tab). Include the account or organization name and a reply address; never send a password or access token.
